Founded in 1999, BRICKJADE draws inspiration from both sides of the Huangpu River with a global vision, while finding its spiritual anchor by the shores of West Lake.

As one of the earliest cashmere brands in China to embrace the “Shanghai–Hangzhou Twin-City Strategy,” we blend the imagination of Shanghai’s Bund with the weaving heritage of millennia-old Hangzhou. The modern lines of Lujiazui are translated into sleek knitwear silhouettes, while the shimmering ripples of the Grand Canal are transformed into jacquard patterns.

From hand-operated flatbed knitting machines to a flexible digital production system, BRICKJADE has, since its inception, built upon a foundation of uncompromising quality to craft light luxury cashmere knitwear.

Using premium cashmere from mountain goats as our core material, we incorporate the delicate tones of Jiangnan ink-wash paintings and the graceful lines of Suzhou-Hangzhou classical gardens into our designs.

Over more than two decades, we have synchronized our rhythm with the cities around us, embodying a poetic balance between pace and serenity at landmark destinations such as Hangzhou Tower, Wulin Intime, and Chengxi Intime.

About the Factory

We have forged a long-standing and trusted partnership with a leading state-owned factory in China. For over a decade, this collaboration has been the cornerstone of our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

All of our cashmere and wool fibers are sourced directly from local herders, ensuring full traceability and ethical procurement. The fibers are then expertly spun and processed within the same facility, allowing us to maintain end-to-end control over quality.

Each year, we maintain an inventory of yarns valued at approximately one billion yen at the factory, securing both material stability and timely production. The factory is renowned for its advanced spinning expertise and holds numerous proprietary technologies that elevate the finesse of every thread.

Every product undergoes multiple rounds of rigorous inspection—from raw fiber testing to intermediate and final product checks. Only items that meet the highest international standards are approved for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive nothing but excellence.
